Worth the price. - Vortex Razor UHD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars

Wanted to upgrade from my older Viper 10x42 binos. I ended up at a local outfitter and had these in one hand and a pair of Swarovski NL Pures in the other. The sales person and I were out glassing things at about a half mile away in the middle of the day. Other than a better fov with the Swaro's, I couldn't find much difference at least not $1500 dollars worth of difference. Clarity, color, sharpness, it's all top notch. Can't speak to the dawn/dusk light gathering between the two but I'm thoroughly happy with my purchase. The only grip I have is with the case it comes with. It's well made but the top cover design is not well thought out. Bought a Badlands bino case immediatly, which was the plan anyhow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
