You can tell this is very high quality glass as soon as you handle it. Crystal clear image from side to side. Not so high powered that you need a tripod to hold, but using one, when practical, would be even better. This is an amazing precision instrument folks.
The case however, is not up to par. The lid does not snap down like on most cases. So it is on the risky side. I think I will look for an aftermarket case.
