I'm a Leupold guy, but have been hearing all the hype about Vortex products and decided to take the plunge. Was a little disappointed that screw on aluminum ones were not available from Vortex so I ordered these "rubber/plastic" covers as a roll of the dice since it was all they offered. They popped right on and function great. They're not fancy aluminum but they get the job done.
