Still under consideration - Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope, 1in Tube, Second Focal Plane

Bought this as a Christmas present and mounted it on my daughters Axis II Rifle. Came with Votex's medium height rings as a package. Problem 1 was the rings are not tall enough to keep the objective bell above the Picanty style scope mount limiting the ability to position the scope on the one piece mount I purchased. Problem 2 the scope exhibits noticeable parallax movement. A $200 on sale scope should be better than that. My daughter is returning it to Vortex, they have a very good customer service reputation so hopefully this will be satisfactorily resolved.
