A sturdy tripod for my large spotter. - Vortex Skyline Tripod SKY-1

Wanted a quality, very sturdy yet portable tripod for my Kowa 884 spotting scope. One that could withstand the wind. It has the hook for extra weight but so far I've not needed it. It is solid, also the pan is nice and smooth. Not something you would want to pack into the back-country, but that's not what I was looking for. It's just what I wanted. Oh, by the way, I'm 6'1" and can use it comfortably from the standing position. Hope this helps someone.
Pros: Very sturdy.
Cons: For some maybe the weight.
