Quality item at a good value - Vortex SPARC II Red Dot 2 MOA SPC-402

Upon close examination, this appears to be a well constructed and designed product that performs well. Even the covers for the battery and adjustment dials are safety wired so that you do not loose the covers. I have one SPARC II mounted to my GSG-5 rimfire carbine and a second unit mounted on my Sig 522 rimfire carbine. The lens is clear and the 2 MOA red dot seems just as bright and sharp as the expensive Aimpoint T-1 that I have mounted on an AR carbine. The SPARC II with the included high mount weighs in at 7.8 oz on my scale. That is about 1 oz lighter than my Eotech XPS 2 holographic weapon sight and 2 oz heavier than my Aimpoint T-1 on a LaRue Tactical quick release mount.
Since I am using both units on rimfire carbines, I cannot say how well they will hold up on higher powered rifles. For my purposes, this is a quality product at a good value. If I couldn't afford the Aimpoint and Eotech that I have on my AR's, I would have purchased the SPARC II for them as well.
