Quality at a fair price - Vortex SPARC Rapid Combat Red Dot Sight SPRC

This red dot is going to make most people looking for a mid-priced, quality, 1X red dot tube sight smile. I got mine on sale for under $200 - everyone knows how high you can go (more $ than gun) and how low. I bore sighted this unit at the house to 50' (my longest indoor span) before heading to an outdoor range where I had no trouble taking it quickly and easily (very few rounds) to 75 yds. - my goal for the SKS carbine that I mounted it on. One might expect the unit to be red / green and have multiple reticles at this price point BUT the unit does one thing VERY well - helps you quickly acquire a target and get ammo down range quickly and very accuratelyyou cannot fault that. I love it.
Pros: solid build, quality controls with screw caps, holds zero
Cons: lens cover strap died on day 1
