Great entry level optic - Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope

I purchased this scope to mount on my AR. I shoot a great deal of up close targets but also shoot up to 600 yards as well. I'm an enthusiast on a budget, so I had to shop for what worked for me. I opted for this scope due to the Vortex name and reputation. I'm very happy with the product overall, but the other reviews posting about the fuzziness is true. When you use the 8x zoom, visual quality is diminished....however....I expect this from a sub $500 optic.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, but if looking for top quality glass, you'll need to spend a little more money.
