Bad vortex strike eagle experience - Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24mm Rifle Scope AR-BDC Reticle

How do I start ? I bought this Vortex strike eagle 1x6 in early December 2015. I used it in 2 different occasions . About 2 weeks ago I picked up my rifle to show a friend the scope and noticed the illumination didn't work. I thought that I must have left it on so I bought a pack of new 2032 batteries. I installed them , but no go , so I talked to a rep at Vortex and they sent me a shipping label. After they received it i received an email from them stating it was a low battery and they sent it back . I thought I must have bought a bad battery pack . When I received it back I was thrilled to get it back and opened it and it still doesn't work. I took the windage cap off and noticed that my Energizer 2032 battery was still in it. They sent me a new battery so I put it in and it still didn't work . I immediately called them back and told them my finding. They said I must have installed the battery backwards. I said no it in correctly (positive up) . I believe they never inspected it. I think they get so many low battery returns that they just throw a new battery in the box and ship it back without checking. Then if the customers complain then they will look again so they don't have to pay a tech the first time to save money. Why would they ship it back with the supposedly bad battery ( not bad )installed . Did they ever checked it ? The lady representative on the phone even said we should have sent it to a technician. Sounds like a cheap made in China product that they don't have time to mess with . Yes , it is made in China. I sent it back again , so I guess I'll see if they are as good as they say they are.
