I bought this scope for my Ruger SR762 because of its dual BDC for .223 and .308. I also have a Nikon 1-4 X 20 with BDC for .223 so I actually have some thing to compare it to. The Nikon scope is good and was easy to sight in, but the Vortex was just as easy with an illuminated Reticle lifetime warranty and easy to use BDC for both rounds. Well built and easy to mount using a Burris P.E.P.R...

Will probably buy another one.
