Does the job it was intended for - Vortex Triumph HD 850 5x21mm Laser Rangefinder

Seems to work rather well in all aspects. It’s not quite a 5x magnification comparing it to other optics. More like a 3 to 4x but adequate for longer distances still. The glass is very clear and transfers colors accurately. I can make out the LCD display fairly well in relatively low light scenarios. If you need more visibility of the display in lower light then you should step up to the next level unit with LED display. On the other hand maybe you shouldn’t be shooting that far in low light anyway just to keep things safe and or ethical. The controls and menu are fairly easy to navigate with a little reading of the manual. I keep mine with the unit in the pouch in case I have to refresh my memory between uses. Depends on how many times I’ve slept between those times!
