Vortex viper xbr - Vortex Viper XBR 2.5-10x44mm Crossbow Scope w/ Illuminated XBR-1 MOA Reticle, Black VXBR-1

The optics are top notch. The reticle focus leads to a clear field of vision with no clutter. I used 30 mm medium rings and this allowed about 3/8" clearance with rail. I have a Scorpyd crossbow and I am using HHA optimizer dial and very quickly was able to get 4 inch groups at 80 yards. The scope is heavier than the typical Hawke scope that came with the crossbow but light collection is incredible and the target is crystal clear at 80+ yards. The scope and turrets feels solid. The scope is expensive but you get what you pay for. I need reading glasses normally but can adjust the scope easily to clear up the reticle with no eyeglasses needed. The lighted reticle is also well thought out with the ability to turn off the light between light intensity adjustments. Lifetime warranty and good customer support. The magnification dial initially was hard to easily turn but after using crossbow in the field twice it has been just right. I can't comment on the reticle distance markers as I am using the HHA optimizer to dial in the distance. Make sure your cross bow has fairly long rails or you may need to use a cantilever style front ring to get the eye relief you need. The customer service rep at Optics planet was helpful with ring selection. Vortex was also helpful. No reservations in recommending the scope.
