Bockscar Fatman's Review of Vtrap Level C Isolation Suit

I bought five of these on a lark through Optics Planet's sister site, Dvor. They arrived today just as I had to go roll around in insulation for six hours. Perfect timing.
Recommend for nasty work? Heck yes.
Cannot comment on it as a chemical exposure barrier, although it's a heck of a lot better than no barrier. If I were a prepper and wanted a anti-viral suit or zombie collection suit, I'd have a few of these in my go bag.
Pros:
1. Fitment is accurate. I wear an XL. 6'-0", 220#, fit well and comfortably.
2. Seal around your body is excellent. I put on the monkey suit with clean clothes, came out sweaty but clean (see cons below).
3. Zipper is quality and durable.
4. Seams are durable - no tearing like I've experienced with other suits.
5. The integral hood fits well and is generous in the neck so you're not restricted.
6. Excellent mobility while wearing == the arm and leg joints are generously portioned but not baggy.
7. Tough - I snagged on multiple objects but it did not tear until I snagged on a sharp steel corner object.

Cons:
1. Durability under repeated abrasion. Not sure what it's made of - feels like Polyethylene. As mentioned earlier, I was on my hands and knees for hours on wood, concrete, steel and insulation. The knees wore through with small holes like swiss cheese. Next time I will use Duct Tape on the abrasion prone surfaces. The only other holes were two small cuts from catching on a sharp corner of steel sheet metal.
2. Because it's basically a plastic seal around you, it doesn't breathe and you sweat, sweat, sweat inside it. Not really a problem, and I didn't notice how sweat soaked my clothes were until I took the suit off.
