Easily the beefiest ferro rods that I have seen.
It reminds me of the old Tootsie Pop sucker commercials..."How many strikes to get the center? The world may never know"
Just like VEW knives, this ferro rod is overbuilt and feels good in the hand.
Your hand will get tired of striking before this rod wears out.
Don't settle for wimpy ferro rods, get the best...and buy a ferro sheath to attach it to your VEW knife.
