James's Review of Wac Em Replacement Blades

I Bought a 4 pack of these 150 gr primitive. Three of them were defective in that the brass rings won't screw onto the ferrules. In the picture they are all screwed down as tightly as they will go. See the gap? The blades just fall out. They are completely useless. In Pennsylvania you are required to have a cutting edged broadhead. If these were in my quiver and the blades fell out I could get a fine, not to mention wound an animal if I shot it with no blades
I got in touch with the manufacturer 4 times. Finally they responded that this was not a defect! I sent them the picture, my receipt and a thorough explanation of the problem.
Bottom line: Do not buy any Wac'em broadheads. They all work on the same principal, are poorly manufactured and they do not stand behind their product. They are made by a company called Feradyne.
Pros:
  • Sturdy ferrule, stout, sharp blades, made in USA
Cons:
  • Completely useless. The blades don't stay in and manufacturer won't make good for a defective product.
Best Used for:
  • Very expensive field points.
