I do not have a pair of these but reading the reviews I see people having an issue with battery life.
I have worn hearing aids for many years and have gained a bit of knowledge about the type of batteries used in these devices.
First, if these are using the type battery where you peel the little tab off of the battery they are air activated.
Air activated batteries last roughly a week once activated whether you use them or not, it just is.
Depending on current draw they may not last quite that long. I had a set of hearing aids that would give me 8 days, later a set that would only give me 6 days.
Basically what I am saying is, if you go to the range once every month you will need a new set of batteries each month.
This is a function of the batteries not the hearing devices.
As long as you don't remove the tabs from the batteries they have a very long shelf life.
