Fit was not quite as expected from install video - Walther Q-Series PPQ Magwell

As a magwell goes it is fine. Flare is smooth once mounted it is stable. For my hands it also provides slight compression on my grip ensuring I get to a high grip coming out of the holster. I've only just started using it so don't know how it will wear. Since it is steel I assume that will not be an issue. My grip is with the installation. From the video I was supposed to trim my back strap with an X-acto to look like the back strap from a steel frame pistol. That was fine, however when I did that it still wouldn't fit. I ended up having to trim the length of the resulting legs until the well would fit. Eventually it did, but that was a little annoying. I'm sure I'll get over it. One upside for this magwell is that it did work with the Springer +6 bases. Not all of the available magwell will apparently.
