Shipping process stinks. - Warne 22 Caliber Medium Scope Rings

I am a user of Warne scope rings and have them on several rim fire rifles. I ordered these to put on a couple of center fires, but unfortunately they were late showing up at my front door by a week later than the promised date. So I purchased a set of leopold prw rings locally and refused delivery of the warne rings when they finally arrived. Still waiting on my account to be credited with the return.
Optics Planet method of shipping via UPS and then a handoff to the US Postal system is not efficient. Somewhere along the line, my shipment was lost, (not the first time this has happened with the handoff) and I got tired of waiting and bought the leopolds locally.
Unless Optics changes this process, I will probably look for other online sources to order from.
