Solid mount. No need to lap. Good amount of forward extension for AR15 magnified optic. Haven't slammed it around on a course yet but see no reason it won't hold zero as my unofficial whacking the mounted scope against a wood table to check for shift cAused none. Steel insert to keep screws from stripping out which lesser mounts don't have. MADE IN USA. Lots of colors to choose from.
