This is one of the most versatile scopes in the Grand Slam line. The optics are bright and clear, the adjustments are precise, parallax adjustment is accurate and will focus clearly at 20X at less than 15 yards, fast focus eye piece is a bonus and the Varminter reticule is suitable for a variety of uses. Sure, the adjustments are not pretty but they are extremely functional. Perhaps my only (small) criticism is that the adjustment numbers are a bit hard to see with my 62 year old eyes!! I have other lower range grand slams on hard kicking hunting rifles and they have performed without fault over many years of hard use.I have owned most makes and models over the years - you would be hard pressed to find a better scope for the dollars spent anywhere.
