Just like it's name, still a "classic". - Weaver K-4 Classic 4x38mm Dual-X Rifle Scope

The old family .270 (Herter's XJ-3) had a Weaver 4X scope on it and it performed flawlessly through many decades of hard use (airboat, swampbuggy, hundreds of miles of walk and treestand hunting in the Big Cypress, a dunking or two, etc). Simple and efficient for this environment/type of hunting. Finally wore out, the reticle, but still air/water tight. Decided to 'upgrade' to a 3 X 9. Just wasn't the same. The 4X is perfect for this close in/low light hunting. And due to the excellent history and performance of the first Weaver 4X scope decided without a second thought to buy a Weaver again.
