See-thru rings for mini-14 (581) - Weaver See-Through Steel-Lock Ring Mounts

Compared to the Ruger rings included with the Mini-14, these will raise the scope height by ~1/2 inch and weigh less. The rings are solid and easy to install.

The higher POI was an acceptable compromise since the iron sights could then be used as a .223 battle zero (~4in high @ 100, zero @ 200, ~4in low at 300).
Pros: Able to use iron sights as advertised.
Cons: Rear aperture had to be adjusted so the front post was visible through the aperture. This resulted in a POI 4-5 inchs higher, at 100 yds, then the aim point.
