Legacy Reviewer's Review of Weaver Super Slam 1.5-6x24 Matte Ill G4 30mm Rifle Scope

Bought this scope on e-bay, used for about half price. This scope is totally awesome in every way. I have this mounted on a 375 Ruger. Don't think I could've made a better choice. The glass is superb in clarity. I had reservations about the reticle, but after hunting with it for a year, I wouldn't trade it for any reticle for the rifle I have it mounted on. Yes, the scope is a bit heavy, but I see that as a positive rather than a negative. The pop up turret adjustments have made me a believer. The illumination is also nice. No, it won't light up the dot in sunlight, but that's not what the illumination is for, and besides, the dot is big enough, that in sunlight, illumination is completely unnecessary. I will be replacing all my scopes without the same pop-up turrets for scopes that do have this option. I can set up rifle with one load, zero the turrets, and then shoot another load and easily correct and then switch back without having to remember what I did. Will definitely be buying more Weaver super-slam euro scopes.
Pros: Very useable magnification range: Very good Glass
Cons: none
