The Wheeler scope alignment and lapping kit is a must have for properly mounting optics. It will quickly smooth out the interior of the rings so that you maintain an even and solid mounting surface for your scope. Also once lapped, the ring no longer mar the exterior finish of the scope.
Pros: Easy to use and works flawlessly
Cons: The overall kit is heavy if you take to the range
