i HAVE BEEN SHOOTING AN EXCALIBUR CROSSBOW FOR ALMOST 25 YEARS .. I'M AT THAT AGE WHERE DRAWING A 170 LB RECURVE WAS KILLING MY SHOULDER AND BACK PLUS IT WAS PRETTY OLD TECHNOLOGY BUT IT WORKED ... I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH AND READ A TON OF REVIEWS . THE WICKED RIDGE INVADER X4 STOOD OUT FROM THE REST FOR QUALITY, ACCURACY AND PRICE. OUT OF THE BOX IT SHOT THREE ROUNDS INTO THE SAME ZERO HOLE AT 20 YARDS WITHOUT SCOPE ADJUSTMENT ! 30 YARDS WAS 1/2 INCH GROUP .. AT 40 YARDS IT SHOT A LITTLE HIGH AT ABOUT 4 INCHES .. Great crossbow package

I didn't get my Xbow from Optics Planet but this is a fine one. I replaced the ten point scope with my Nikon bolt scope that I did get from OP and while sighting it in the first bolt a Black Eagle Executionerusing my discharge bag went through the black hole target like it wasn't even there and stuck in the wood fence with 8 inches sticking out the other side that is some power was my thought.I finally got it adjusted and at 20 yards using my discharge bag target I could put a bolt exactly where it was aimed from a rest. The bow is very fast,powerfull and accurate. I got it with the acudraw because I couldn't draw my old centerpoint sniper anymore, The trigger on this bow has no creep in it and the 3.5 lb pull is just that nice and crisp. You may spend more for another type but this is a very nice crossbow!

worth more than the price

I bought this bow a week ago and shot it today i sighted it in and then practiced in a tree stand and on the ground. I put a old barnett scope on it and i was a hitting a 2 inch bulls eye 16/16 shots. When i shot at a target over 50 yards away i hit the bulls eye once again. For only being $500 i am very impressed and happy i went with ten point/ wicked ridge. I highly recommend this product!!!
