Katie's Review of Williams Gun Sight Target Pistol Sights
First of all, I love my Browning Buckmark. It's a great gun, and the first handgun I owned. As I live out in the country, I knew I might have to use it at night, so I purchased a set of these night sights to put on it. They installed without a single problem. Very easy to put on and adjust, and definitely helped when trying to get rid of rattlesnakes after dark. These sights worked great in daylight and dark, to maximize the available light and make it easy to aim. I love that they are green in back and red in front, which allows you to get a clear sight picture very quickly.
Now for the bad news. I've had them several years and they are beyond warranty. I take very good care of my guns. Three days ago when I got my Buckmark out of the gun safe to take it to the range with me, the front sight rod was missing. I found one tiny piece of it broken off inside the front most rod holder, and the rest was just gone. The only place it had been was to the range with me in it's protective case and then back inside the gun safe. I'm very disappointed. The Williams gun sight front rod for my Taurus PT111 fell out while at the range a few months ago and I've never heard back from the company about what size rod to replace it with. I really loved this sight while it worked, but all the trouble about needing to replace the rods and not being able to get any response from them about what size rod is needed has soured me on this company. I wouldn't recommend this fiber optic sight to anyone who doesn't have an "in" at the Williams company. Maybe THEY could get an answer from Williams, but I couldn't.
