Tod's Review of Williams Gun Sight Front Sight Pusher

Just received my William's front sight pusher. First view it looked rugged enough to get the job done. Some minor discoloration due to surface rust on the plunger and stationery fingers. It took some time to get tool aligned with the front sight. Due to the tight tolerances,I had to use additional clamps to secure the pusher inplace. I used a heat gun to loosen any lock tight, and proceeded to use the tool. Many times I had to stop and realign the pushing rod. Upon removing the sight, the tool twisted and shaved off some of the sight base on the barrel. The the cut out on the pusher ram was a little short, causing it to hit the barrel thus leaving a slight mark on the barrel. The stationary fingers left wears marks on opposing side of barrel sight base. Lastly, the stock used for the "T" handle is to thin. Remedies, use some type of flat steel instead of roll pin to stop the pushing ram from twisting while turning the "T" HANDLE. lengthen the cut out so the ram doesent make contact with the barrel, Use stronger steel so the fingers could be manufactured with a larger toleranc And polish the burrs off all contact parts. Lastly a thicker rod on the "T" handle. Feel free to contact me.i will forward pics at your request
