I’ve tried a large range of 1911 mags from low end all the way up to these. There is simply no comparison to the WC Vickers mag. I prefer the steel base pad as it just has that perfectly measured extra length below the well. I also like the stainless over the black ones because they have somewhat of a “slicker” feel to them making for an even quicker reload.
