I haven’t finished my build yet but if it shoots as good as it looks, it’ll be great, can’t wait

The gunsmith who installed this for me said he had to do a triple-take to make sure it wasn't an AR10 barrel due to the sheer thickness. I guess that .875 barrels aren't terribly common in the AR15 world (are they?). In any case, this thing drives tacks, and groups exceptionally well. It weighs a lot, and as such isn't exactly a good choice for a run'n'gun type setup.

The finish is very interesting, and one of my favorites- it's the shiniest bead-blasted surface I've ever seen, and makes for an exceptionally beautiful weapon when combined with a forend with enough holes to show it off. Having not measured the gas port I can't speak completely authoritatively on sizing, but what I CAN say is that my rifle runs exceptionally dirty with a suppressor. So dirty, in fact, that my nickel bolt carrier looked like a black phosphate one after 2 shots.

In any case, I'd highly recommend this barrel to anyone who likes their AR rifles l o n g.

Really nice unit and fit perfectly in my Wilson upper. Feed ramps are great and I couldn’t be happier with the fitment. My problems are mainly that there was a burr left inside the barrel from drilling the gas port. Also the barrel started to flash rust after about a day which could’ve been my fault for not applying oil to it after removing it from packaging. Most of the rust scrubbed off but I’m thinking this thing will rust in the future and will need constant oiling. I could always cerakote if it becomes an issue. I still have not shot but Wilson advertises 1/2 MOA or money back.

Barrel is amazing, top notch quality, actually arrived in two days from time of order

I purchased this on a reccomend action from my local gunsmith and got it about 50$ cheaper here on optics planet than anywhere else.

Wilson hand laps and polished these barrels before they leave them and the machining and finishing is beautiful.

The fit into the upper receiver was perfect (aero M4e1 upper)

It shot a .300 moa 5 shot group at 100 yards with black hills 77 grain today and I can’t describe how happy I am to have a AR that can shoot that well

Barrel is very well made, shoots accurately and the end threading has no rough spots or burrs. I coupled it with a Wilson upper and lower receiver set to match everything up. 10/10 would buy again in the future!

Great barrel, good deal. Have yet to shoot it, I'm waiting on a few more parts but I think it will do well. The 20 inch is just right not to heavy but not to light weight. Seems to be a well manufactured barrel I will be putting it to the test very soon.
