808to702's Review of Winchester USA Handgun 9 mm NATO 124 grain Full Metal Jacket Brass Cased Centerfire Pistol Ammunition

I bought 1000 rounds of Winchester NATO practice ammo because it was on sale and I thought that the NATO designation was a plus. I wondered why it was so cheap and unfortunately I found out why. I used to use Blazer, Winchester and Remington practice ammo but the Winchester NATO name had me fooled. I have never had so many failure to feed and failure to fire problems at the range since I started using this particular ammo. I normally take 3 different firearms to the Range since I designate all of them as carry weapons. I normally use about 150 to 200 rounds per visit and have had some occasional failure to feed problems with the practice ammo. Some of it was due to feed ramp polishing which I started to do after my practice sessions. I started to have a lot of feed and fire problems when I switched to the Winchester NATO ammo. I am going to use the remaining rounds and switch back to Blazer ammo. Don't buy the NATO if you see it on sale. I always thought that Made in America was a plus but not this time.
