These #4 turkey loads pattern better in my 870 super express magnum than the 3 1/2” or the 3”! An old timer turned me on to these & I have to admit not CC flinching because of recoil might be the deciding factor but I personally put more pellets in the turkey target with these & the birds fall Oberon the first shot every time.
Pros:
- A lot less recoil but still a great pattern
Cons:
- Being told i need 3 or bigger to hunt Tom birds but the proof is in the pudding
Best Used for:
- Turkey hunting
