Looks: 3/5. Bought the high grade walnut stock+forearm set for my 1895 dark. Pattern is cool but the color is slightly different on the stock and the forearm.
Fitment: 4/5. Went out fairly easily, even though the installation instructions for the 1895 dark are not great at all. Where the plastic is set in the wood is a little bit off kilter but not terribly noticeable. Screw holes between the plastic and wood were also slightly off center and had to be drilled out just the smallest bit to align.
Finish: 3/5. Looks cool, but honestly feels a little cheaper than what it should for $800. Its nothing like the wood finish on my older rifles.
Do I hate it? Not at all. Do I love it? Meh. Looks much nicer in the ads than what it actually feels in hand.
