This chassis fits my Howa 1500 SA 308 Win heavy barrel perfectly and it is strong and light. Finish of this chassis is perfect too. I have tried a couple of AR 15 mil-spec buffer tubes, palm shelf ergo grip and it all fit. The last thing I put on is a Vortex Viper PST ii 5-25x50 scope, 25 moa base with 0.82” center height rings. The clearance between the bell of the scope and the barrel is less then 0.2”.
