This sight post perfectly compliments my rear peep sight. I am not a precision shooter, and rarely shoot past 150 yards. This product is perfect for those who use a carbine for home defense. It is quick to pick up. It is bright, but not too bright. I use the Big Dots for my pistols since those are for much closer ranges, but the standard dot on an AR gives you a little more flexibility, allowing accurate hits out to 150 - 200 yards. It is exactly what I needed and works exactly as I intended. Deserves a sixth star. Buy it.
