I bought this sight kit to replace the factory sights on my Marlin 1895G .45-70. My peepers are getting too old for standard, open sights. These XS Ghost Ring Sights were really easy to install and are a big improvement to the rifle. Targets are much easier to acquire with the ghost ring and large, vertical front blade. The zero procedure is very straight forward, too (video available on the XS site).
I highly recommend this sight kit.
