XS Big Dots are the only sights I use on my handguns.

They are the fastest and most-effective under stress. Other handgun sights work well in competitions or at the range (especially red dots), but with the stress, adrenaline, tunnel vision, diminished motor skills, moving targets, shooting on the move, etc. of a real gunfight (or serious force-on-force training), nothing is better than Big Dots.

Their design was inspired by big-game-hunting rifles, which were used to hunt (or defend against) large animals (lions and rhinos, for example) who were potentially fighting back, making speed essential.

Recent upgrades have made them even better. They are even more durable, the photoluminescence is amazing, and the new “optic yellow” color is a nice upgrade to the white color of the original Big Dots. (Of course, orange is another option.)

Installation is simple. Directions and videos are available on their website. Just follow the directions, and if possible, don’t use a sight pusher. A non-marring punch is safer and easier.
