Bought this to supplement the muzzle brake adapter that came with the YHM suppressor. If shooting unsuppressed, some local ranges (and CQB classes where multiple students are involved in close proximity) are now prohibiting muzzle brakes, so this permits me to have my MK18 SBR unsuppressed if needed. Never had an issue with YHM - great suppressors for prices that are reasonable...
