I looked at the brightest star in the sky tonight and was surprised to see Neptune with its distinctive bands. WOW what a scope. Always wanted one of these and now I have one I am looking forward to the discoveries that it will lead me too.
Would not recommend for range work because of its size, however great bird watcher (feathered variety!)and good all rounder. Buy yourself a good quality bipod though to get the best from this spotting scope.
Pros: Great optics large 100mm lens
Cons: Plastic housing, poor quality tripod

Scope met all my expectations, Better than any I have used so for. I was able see 32cal holes at 100yds in rainy low light conditions. I did not have any problem using the tripod that came with package.

Overall a great scope! Very clear optics. You will need a better tripod as the one that it comes with isn't sturdy enough for higher magnification. Also, the instructions say not to use it in direct sunlight so it will have to be covered with a towel or used inside the carrying case to protect it from the sun...I find this very odd for what is described as a rugged scope, but all the pros outweigh the minor cons.
Pros: easy to use, clear optics, lightweight, extreme magnification
Cons: tripod not stable enough for high magnification, focus control a little coarse for high magnifications

Magnification is more than most spotting scopes.
Controls are too coarse, requiring lots of adjustments to take advantage of the magnification
Pros: Easy set up
Cons: Controls too coarse

I reckon this a very good all rounder It's light, easy to carry and set up. But if your going to use it on Max mag, you will need a high quality tripod, as the slightest touch sends it wobbling all over the place, Very very powerful for what it is. Good for Moon watching and even the stars can give very good results!
Pros: easy to carry, anyone can use it, very powerful, even for star watching
Cons: None

Huge objective lense is extemely bright, has very good edge-to-edge sharpness. I was skeptical at first about the zoom range, but the scope has surpassed my expectation.
Pros: Exceptional Value
Cons: None so far

little heavy, difficult to target planets, fantastic for general purposes, needs space as terrace and strong tripods. No aberrations in lents
