I tried this model because my old Velbon VEF-3 just couldn't handle the bulk of a Konus Konospot 100. I'm very pleased with this Landmark. It's well made, with cast metal frame pieces and machined hardware.
Yet it's not overly heavy to carry. It is stable, and easily holds the bulky 5.5lb Spotting Scope even at odd, off center angles. Well worth the money.
Pros: Sturdy, well made
Cons: I prefer a handle on the pan head
