So after having the sight for a while, I've only been to the range once.. didnt have to adjust it at all and its still holding zero perfect battery life is long. the reflection from where the laser sits is kinda noticable in low light settings, and the brightest setting is to powerful in in darkness, it gets blurry, so you'll never use that.. the battery cap loosens when u turn it on nd off over time, but never came all the way off.. all and all it's worth the money, no real issue..

I really love this red dot! It was easy to setup and works great! I added this to my AR-15 and couldn't ask for a better product. I'm going to purchase a second one to add to my AR-9. It is very easy to sight in. The optics are very crisp and clear.

If you are at war you may want a better optic. I shoot paper. For me this is a great optic at an awesome price point. I also had the issue of it turning off when firing. I bent the battery contacts out a little and have had no further issues. Out of the box it was adjusted almost perfect.
Pros:
- Price price and price. And works as it should
Best Used for:
- AR pistol or other similar weapons

Sight works great other than the facts the are, dont leave it in direct sunlight i guess.. After about 20 minutes and 50 rounds my sight overheated and the battery actually exploded in my hand after popping it out to check for failures. Also after replacing the battery, 2 range trips later the red dot has completely failed but all the green dot sights work. Anyone else have this issue?

I bought a new Sight Mark Reflex model SM13005 and put it on my AR pistol near the rear sight. Each time I fired a round the reticle disappeared. I had to turn the brightness switch to get it to come back on. Is this a common issue with this particular reflex?

I have two of these, one that has bounced around on a few different rifles and one that is used on a dedicated 22 LR SBR upper. Both have had pretty similar performance. They are easy to use, have big viweing windows, seem to be fairly rugged and seem to have good battery life. The main problem is that they are big and heavy. I thought they were medium sized units but they are full sized beasts, as large and wide and heavy as typical EO Techs or 30mm red dots. The reticles seem to hold zero well (as long as you change reticles) and are good for the price but not nearly as crisp or tight as my 3 EO Techs or my HoloSun and require more focus concentration by the shooter. However, it costs 6-10 times less so I can't really complain.
Pros:
- low cost, big window, rugged
Cons:
- big and heavy, blurry reticles

I ordered 2 of these sights for my ARs. I was familiar with the Sightmark brand.Easy to use and sight in. Good for the 223 cal, not so good for a 308 . The light inside goes off some times after shooting it.After a few seconds it come back on. Also in real bright light It is hard to see. For my use it works well.

This sight is tough and has stayed true without babying it. I've got it on a Crossman 2240 air pistol for backyard varmints. The battery life is much longer than I expected. The product description states battery CR1620. This is incorrect. Mine came shipped with a CR1632 battery and will not work with the CR1620's I bought as backups. Only works with CR1632 as shipped. Please change product description.
Still love it!

I picked up an Ultrashot as a place keeper until I was ready to spend on an Eotech. I had seen so many reviews complaining about all sort of things that I really didn't have high expectations. I have been blown away with this little sight. It projects a clear reticle, was easy to mount and zero (both of which have stayed put), and I don't know what else you could ask for. I'm not taking this little fella to war but if I was, I could take approximately 7 for the $ of 1 Eotech base model (mine was on sale). I plan to add another to the collection, no Eotech for me. It's truly a value.
Cons:
- Lacks the prestige it deserves
Best Used for:
- Anything a normal owner would do
