Mick's Review of Zaffiri Precision RTS Glock 43/43X ZPS.2 Pistol Slide RMSc Cut

This is for a carry gun. I saw some reviews. I really wanted that Gucci Glock look, although I know I shouldn't for my carry gun. I also they slide milled for a red dot. I took the gamble. Looked good upon arrival. However, there are some issues with the following: 1. It was super tight or out of spec. 2. It didn't want to reset properly. 3. Gun was a jam-o-matic ever 2-3rds. Had to take the mag out, rack, reinsert, rack, bang, jam, mag out, rack etc etc. I contacted the warranty department of the company not off of this website but off their own. Horror stories about their customer service. This was not the case for me. They responded back quickly and originally told me I needed to put about 300 rounds through it, Fighting through the constant jams, founded it soaking dripping wet in oil when I was shooting it. I advised I already put about 150 through. They asked to see some photos and sent me a shipping label for free. The warranty department had my slide overall for about 5 to 10 days. I don't remember exactly and sent it back. Didn't tell me what they fixed or what they did. However it was immediately noticed that it fit the firearm way better. Slide action was a lot smoother and not so tight. The gun also would go into battery and wouldn't get hung up like it was before. I took it to the gun range and I only had issues when I had a compensator on the end of my threaded barrel. I think this is more my issue due to no longer having a rubber washer on the end and I believe the compensator is making contact with the guide rod. When I remove the compensator I no longer had jams and the firearm function properly. Overall it looks sick functions like it's supposed to. However, mine out of the box did not work properly and I had to go through warranty and customer service with a delay to get it to work. Your mileage may very. Buy at your own risk and understand what you might need to do to get it to work. If you want it for a range toy, I'd say go for it. Is I've been told and I know, custom guns aren't the best idea for conceal and carry or off duty carry, And if you're like me and you're not going to take the warning. Good luck.
Pros:
  • Worked
Cons:
  • Eventually
Best Used for:
  • Range toy.
