Guide rods are not that big deal nowadays, most have the same specs, and the same spring weights, and most if not all are made from the same materials, stainless steel or whatnot. But the thing that separates zaffiri from other manufacturers is the quality and affordability.
Also, this guide rode was lubricated to allow the spring to move smoothly. It looks like some sort of self-lubrication tech to prevent the spring from biting the rod. I don't know if this is the same for all the guide rods they make but it is nice to see manufacturers go that extra step. I ZP lpk and spk in all of my pistols with thousands of rounds through them and I never had a malfunction so five stars it is!
