Zeiss conquest riflescope sunshade - Zeiss Conquest Rifle Scope Sunshades

This is supposed to fit the new Terra riflescopes, but it doesn't fit properly. I called Zeiss, and sent them photographs of the sunshade mounted on the scope, and it doesn't thread on all the way. The engineers at Zeiss tried there own sunshade on the Terra scope, and agreed there is a manufaturing defect. I had to send my sunshade in to them for a refund, and I am told they are going to be redesigning either the Terra scopes, or the sunshades, but it will be months before the design is ironed out. If you have a Zeiss Terra riflescope, I advise you call Zeiss to ask how to handle the problem.
