This scope cover is real overkill. It has snaps, zippers, and elastic straps. It has protruding grommets for the eyepiece cover which can seem in the way. It is also a very tight fit. Once it's on it's a project to remove and and then put back on. I also have a scope cover for a Pentax scope. It is just as effective, was included with the price of the scope, and is easy to put on and take off. Velcro and one zipper did the trick for Pentax. For the price of the Zeiss cover they should have copied the Swarovski design. No need to reinvent the wheel or a scope cover.
