Chris's Review of ZeroTech Optics Trace Advanced 20-60x80mm Spotting Scope
So far so good. I cannot wait to take this out to the range and really stretch its legs. Appears to be built well and very hefty. Comes packaged well and the neoprene cover is very nice.
Since I cannot yet discuss long range performance I will discuss an issue. The ability to mount via picatinny rail was a draw for me but Optics Planet nor Magpul still have any of the MOE 5-slot rail sections needed and Mlok rails will not line up on the bottom where intended. Seems like an update is needed from the manufacturer to put Mlok on the bottom also and/or provide other mounting plates aside from the 1/4”x20 that seems barely sufficient for the weight of this scope. I hopefully can find the Magpul MAG406 rail section I need through another channel.

Cons:
- Very heavy
- outdated MOE rail requirement
- only 1/4x20 thread mount
