For the money, it's great! I find it better than binoculars for seeing the numbers on daymarks or the sail numbers on boats, provided of course that conditions are fairly calm and bright. Small enough to carry in a jacket pocket so you often have it with you when the big binocs are in the cabin.
Pros: compact, powerful, easy to use
Cons: limited light gathering, no tripod capacity
