I have always used a Zippo and this new one is even nicer then my old slim one. The finish looks pretty and doesn't show as many fingerprints as my old smooth finished one did. This lighter is also thicker than my old one and should hold up better getting knocked around in my purse. Like my old one it lights right up outside and in the car and can keep my gloves on to use it.
