Product Info for Rick Hinderer Knives Half Track Folding Knives
Half tracks were conceived as a vehicle that could go where regular wheeled cars could not and yet not be as large as a tank. The Hinderer Knives Half Track is aptly named. The Hinderer Half Track is actually smaller in overall length than a XM-18 3 inch model. HOWEVER, due to the handle shape and ergonomics, it has a totally different feel in the hand. If you have wanted a smaller Hinderer for EDC, but thought the 3 inch XM-18 felt a bit small in the hand, the Half Track is perfect. It's handle design allows you to get a great grip on the knife and still do ″real″ work. The Half Track is a clean design that is easy to carry and has a hidden open/stop pin in the blade that contacts the frame under the front of the knife.
