Product Info for Ruger 10/22 Takedown Forend/Butt Stock Assembly
Forend and butt stock assemblies are the core of the "take down" Ruger action and they are the core of our Takedown Forend & Butt Stock Assembly as well as our Takedown Push-Button Stock Assembly. These two simple but very versatile stock assemblies are easy to install in a number of ways - either as a detachable stock or a fixed stock and they can be installed on either side of a 10/22 Takedown using the provided hex screws. In this way, the stock becomes the action of the gun when you install it. The tang of the stock goes through the recoil pad and is there to guide it if the shooter ever loses their nerve. This stock assembly fits all 10/22 Takedown model rifles except the Mark V. This stock assembly also fits the Ruger Mark V.
