have a Ruger M77 30-06 SPRG trying to mount a Crossfire 3 x 12 x 54 scope is hitting the barrel with all mounts I have tried even ex-tall rings. Expert Answer

You will likely need a rail and extra tall rings. Here's a base that would work for your rifle. You'd just need to pair it with picatinny scope rings.

I got a 3x9x50 leapold scope I have 2 5 rings on there now and scope in bottoming out is this a #6 ring for the front . Will this help lift the front Expert Answer

The #6 ring is the highest ring Ruger makes, so it should help your scope clear the barrel.
